the admins have some power trip issues got banned for helping someone but pretty sure it was more i was more successful in the profession one of the admins wanted so they started random drama and banned me it also made others leave the server that seen that chat
save your time join a better server
This guy misgendered a player, and continued to do so when corrected. Tried telling them they should use a specific currency, then acted up when met with conflict about it. Not sure what they mean by "power trip" when the admin was extremely lenient with them. The other person who left was instigating the drama and throwing "alpha player" around after only being in the server for 20 minutes, not even understanding the lack of boundaries Poochoocanoe displayed.
Overall, this server is great, no one asked me to write this. This is my second time playing on this server and everyone is great. Obviously you will get players like this who desire to tarnish a good place whenever they can't handle the consequences of their own actions.
If you enjoy a slow paced server and want to build pretty things, I'd say its a good fit! :D
Although I enjoyed your brief 1 day time on our server and was looking forward to playing with you, the conversation last night was a really tough thing to see happen. I think your intention in mentioning that the players shop currency wasn't set up for the town currency was intended to be helpful by you, but unfortunately the delivery tone of that message implied a completely different vibe that all of us read who were online at the time. It didn't really allow for a helpful discussion, nor was it worded in a way that was a suggestion. Instead of saying "my bad" or being sensitive to another person when they responded, you doubled down and then tried to make the player seem like they were crazy for their reaction. You weren't banned, you said you were "outta here" and then literally 1 person left with you who had joined about 5mins before this convo. This server has been around for years, with a lot of dedicated long time players on it and we are here for good vibes and community. I am sorry that feedback given to you was a tough experience, but you weren't listening to any of us. I wish you well on your eco journey, it was fun while it lasted for the 24hrs you were around.
The server is great! Sorry to hear you had a bad experience - sometimes suggestions and internet typing/tone is misconstrued by others, unfortunately.
It's your place to have an opinion but I've only had a good experience on this server - for those wanting to try it out, the balancing is stellar and the experiences of the multiple players with years of playing time makes for a great economy and multiple cities, with democratic restart dates based on player activity, and multiple comet destructions on the server since it started nearly a year ago! Great community and great place to learn and enjoy Eco.
A note for additional context: none of the shops here were using minted currencies. Some shops had chosen to use the mayor's personal credit.
